Winter Teams:
Time to start thinking of your Winter 2010 teams.
President John Coelho has asked that everyone get their team lists in at the coming delegates meeting of the 15th March 2010.

News from Delegates Meeting
To Register a NEW Player to your team you must first do the following:
a. If it is a player that has not played for the DRDA you must give the Recorder at least 48 hours to check their average from another Association. You cannot register a player on night of play if we do not know who they are.
b. To register a new player and we know who it is and their average you must notify the Recorder before 7.30pm. If you cannot then you have to play short.
Calling the 63963156 phone number and leaving a message IS NOT registering a player.

The player must be a financial member of the current club.

A reminder to new clubs in the DRDA, please be aware that the HOME team is responsible for phoning through the results [and mailing the score sheet]. It is greatly appreciated if you can phone through [63963156] right after your game as I wait for the calls to come in so that the Results and Ladder are on the web site for all to see by the next morning.
Thanks
Recorder
It has come to my attention over the first few weeks of the Summer Comp that some of you seem to be confused as to how the new score sheets should be filled in correctly.
Remember that the playing rule [23] states that the score thrown to win in each game is to be identified with the word "PEG" and both the word"PEG" and the winning score are to be circled in red ink.
If you click on the link below to the Grade that is applicable to your team it will show how it has to be filled in correctly.
If you are still not sure - ASK!!

Before you play a New Player, approval must first be sought by calling the Recorder by phone PRIOR to him/her playing his/her first game.
[See Rule 5 of Playing Rules] - Any club wishing to play a new player after team registration must
first gain the approval of the Association Recorder.
All new registrations shall be submitted to the Recorder by [mobile] phone
(see Fixture sheet for number) prior to him/her playing his/her
first game.
Calling the Results Phone Number [6396-3156] is not the phone number to call.
Clarification of What Phone Number to Call:
For Results it is 63963156
To gain approval/register a new player as per rule 5 of the playing rules you
MUST call 0417095104 - before they play.
Phoning through results. As mentioned before, if you feel you could not get through to the answering service you can still SMS me or phone my mobile. 0417095104.
Calling my mobile at night is a last resort.
So there is NO excuse to say that you could not get the results through on time.
Thanks
Allan
